About Me

Hi, I’m Carmina,

I am an actress and filmmaker from London. I have a love of exploring character through using my life experiences and challenges to inspire, to be relatable and to bring joy to the audience.

My earliest experience of performing was from the age of 6, this was ballet, my first love. It was my father who encouraged me, he would say “ballet is the foundation of all dance”.  I trained in dance for many years until I was a young adult alongside other dance styles such as, modern, contemporary, jazz, street dance, house, commercial, salsa and Brazilian samba.

As much as I love dance, my life is now devoted to acting, again introduced to me by my father who is my inspiration and was both an actor and writer and I have inherited his creativity which I am now continuing. I am trained in Meisner, motion capture and martial arts.  I love being a “bad-ass” striking with a few chop kicks and reverse turning kicks, thanks to being trained in taekwondo. I didn't start this as a child as most people do, but I have won every poomsae competition I have entered so far and achieved 4 gold medals. You can also find me in the park throwing a bo staff or a sword taking my martial arts to the next level.

Also I have been in feature films, which are currently on Amazon. You can check out my work on IMDB. My latest project is a short film that I wrote, produced, directed, and starred in called ‘Soul Tide’. It is my first film that I have created myself. This journey taught me invaluable lessons about the filmmaking process and more importantly, about myself. Even through the challenging times, I discovered my resilience, creativity, and passion for storytelling, which continue to drive me forward in my artistic pursuits. Thank you for visiting my website.
